Malcolm's has worked as a director in film, new media, social and cultural mediums for the past fifteen years. After working in experimental film and documentary, Malcolm began his career co-founding capitalmag.com and the New Forms Festival in 1999-2000. Since then he has created film, writing, interactive and installation works including projects for CBC / 120seconds, Virtual Museum Canada, Tech TV, Mobile Muse, MUTEK, Project Stitch, VIDFEST and Assignment Zero. Malcolm's films and video installation works have been presented in India, Australia, China, Germany and Canada. Malcolm is the director of 'Shambhala' (2001-2008) over the course of 9 years, a documentary following the life and times of the festival by the same name. Malcolm is currently in post-production of 'Walking on Glass' (2006-2008), a story following religion, politics, development and the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Sub-Saharan Africa. Malcolm was recently asked to work on programming for the CODE Digital Festival, taking place during the Olympic Arts Festival in 2010.

Jacy Schindel, Editor

Jacy began his career as a freelance still photographer, but quickly moved on to shooting and editing video in 1998. Since that time he has worked as a camera-man for City TV, several backcountry ski lodges, and many independent producers throughout British Columbia. Jacy began teaching film and video to students throughout the Kootenays in 2004, and has since run over 40 workshops for at-risk-youth and school groups. He has written and directed a couple of short films and a docudrama. Jacy has also served his time as the lead editor on several independent documentary films, two dramatic pieces, and many commercials for KVOS and Shaw cable. Jacy was the editor of Shambhala, and also helped write and shoot the film over four years. Jacy is currently working at the CBC.
